Meet Israel Macias

Israel Macias is the founder and lead content contributor at Carport Builders & Repairs, bringing over a decade of experience in residential and commercial construction. His career began in concrete foundations and evolved into a specialized focus on custom carport design, installation, and structural repair.

Through years of hands-on fieldwork and collaboration with expert crews, Israel has developed a sharp eye for building durable, functional, and cost-effective carports that stand up to harsh weather and meet local code requirements. From simple single-car shelters to multi-vehicle custom builds, his insights are grounded in real-world results.

Israel’s approach to construction reflects his life values: precision, patience, and practicality. When he’s not working on-site or writing for the blog, you’ll find him enjoying time in nature—fishing, scuba diving, or exploring the outdoors. This connection to the natural world inspires his commitment to building structures that are both functional and long-lasting.

He believes a great carport is more than just steel and concrete—it’s a solution that offers protection, peace of mind, and long-term value for property owners. Through his content and consulting, Israel aims to help homeowners and contractors alike make smart, informed decisions when it comes to carport planning, permitting, and installation.
